Background:

I was born and raised in Lake Forest Park. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. After college, I decided to partake in one of the greatest adventures in my life. To live and to teach English at a prestigious school in Osaka, Japan. My experience in Japan opened up my eyes to the world and allowed me to experience an amazing culture. I look forward to using my teaching skills to inform you about real estate.

When I think about my journey through real estate these past 8 years, I am reminded how lucky I have been to find a job that I so thoroughly enjoy! I incorporate a diverse background of art and design from my home in GA, where I grew up. I am visual which works very well for me in real estate. I may see something that a buyer or seller will not see so nothing will be overlooked in this very important purchase or sale. I am particularly good at helping sellers take a good look at their own home and getting it ready for sale.

Background:

From Atlanta, I went to Santa Fe NM to St John’s College.  At “the Great Books School”, I learned the importance of the written word and how many meanings one word could provoke in different people. All people look at a purchase or sale from a different point of view whether they are the buyer or seller, home inspector, escrow agent, lender, appraiser and tax assessor!  My job is to be responsive to my client’s needs at all times and at all hours. Skill and care, honesty, loyalty and good faith, confidentiality, timeliness, existing facts, receipt and delivery for all money, and guidance are all words I take to heart and deliver to my clients with wit and humor. I am a full service agent.

Commitment:

Seattle has been my home for the last 35 years with jobs including stock brokerage, pre-school, childcare, and of course, my own family of boys and golden retrievers. Seattle is so diverse in its neighborhoods with wonderful restaurants and a vibrant art community.  Although I live and work in Seattle, I am very mobile to other areas of the Greater Puget Sound area such as Edmonds, Lynnwood, Shoreline, Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond to name a few. I look forward to working with you wherever “home” is calling you!

For as long as I can remember I’ve had a love for real estate and construction – the unique architecture, diverse building materials and fine craftsmanship have always intrigued me.  I’ve worked in the field for over a decade and my goal is to share my expertise with my clients in order to make their experience a successful one.

My Background:

I began working in construction as a teenager and continued while earning my degree in Communication from Western Washington University.  After college, I went to work as a carpenter full time - learning aspects of the trades ranging from foundation to finish.  Although I’m no longer working as a carpenter professionally, I maintain an interest in it.  As a hobby, I have continued to work with my hands and study building technique.

I have had the pleasure of working in residential and commercial real estate appraisal for over 10 years. Over this period I have studied the market, sales trends, building practices, zoning issues and become a valuation expert.
